Course Content

We are delighted to be offering selected pupils this experience in order to build their confidence in reading, writing, listening and talking.  The course, built on material developed by employers, is designed to develop nine key skills including communication, organisation, collaboration, and resilience. These “learning to learn” skills are timeless and transferable, empowering learners to face new challenges and succeed in learning, work, and life. A range of projects and activities will encourage pupils to collaborate, communicate their ideas and solve problems which have a real world context.  Our aim is to equip pupils with a growing confidence in their communication skills and awareness of the relevance and importance of literacy learning as part of their preparation for the transition into the senior phase of their education.  Please note that this course runs for S3 only.
