The course builds advanced analytical, decision‑making and evaluative skills through the study of real business situations.

Course Content

Unit 1: The External Business Environment

Learners develop an in‑depth understanding of the external factors that influence organisational decision‑making. They analyse the impact of political, economic, social, technological, environmental and competitive forces, and evaluate how businesses respond to these challenges.

Unit 2: The Internal Business Environment

Learners explore the internal workings of organisations, including leadership, human resource management, finance, operations and marketing. They evaluate how internal structures, resources and strategies affect performance and long‑term success.

Unit 3: Evaluating Business Information

Learners develop advanced skills in interpreting, analysing and evaluating complex business data. They use a range of analytical tools to assess business performance, justify strategic decisions and draw well‑supported conclusions.
