Course Description

The Electronics course provides a hands-on introduction to electronics, focusing on circuit design, analysis, simulation, construction (including breadboarding and soldering), testing and fault-finding.

The course develops problem-solving and analytical skills with practical wiring and assembly techniques. Students will learn how to safely use an array of tools and equipment.

Course Content

-          Electrical concepts and theory (voltage, current, resistance)

-          Identification and use of electrical components (resistors, capacitors, LEDs etc.)

-          Circuit design and simulation

-          Construction and testing
